In July, we shared Studio Cassette's carbon footprint for the year 2023-2024, and we committed to letting you know how we offset our footprint.
As we explained last year, we have decided to no longer use Reforest Action, which has ceased its reforestation activities. We have also taken into account the criticisms of carbon offsetting by planting trees alone.
Our approach is now based on Two axes :
- Reduction at source : We continue to optimize our energy consumption, limit our travel and integrate eco-design principles into each of our web projects.
- Support for environmental projects : as a member of 1% for the Planet , we donate 1% of our turnover to environmental associations. This year, we have chosen to support local projects for the preservation of biodiversity in the Île-de-France and PACA regions.
We have also strengthened our web eco-design practices by adopting tools to measure the carbon footprint of our sites, in order to offer our customers more responsible digital solutions.
