It is now a tradition at Studio Cassette or rather a priesthood. As we have done every year for the past four years at the same time, we are looking at our carbon footprint.
In terms of methodology, we still use the simulator proposed by the GoodPlanet Foundation , which also allows us to compare our impact on the environment and climate from one year to the next.
From June 2022 to June 2023, our emissions amounted to approximately 13.02 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. Admittedly, this is a little more than last year, but apart from the increase in personal travel (yes, this is another point where we need to improve), we have remained quite virtuous overall.
In addition, compared to each member of the team (5 full-time employees), this balance represents much less than the amount of CO2 emissions emitted on average by a French person each year (8.9 tons of CO2 per person according to the Ministry of Ecology).
At Studio Cassette, we are particularly proud to have been able to control our electrical energy consumption, a key position in our sector of activity. In this regard, to host our various projects, we continue to work with our partner Infomaniak, renowned for being the One of the most committed hosts in favor of ecology .
Finally, as in other years, we are committed to offsetting our footprint on the environment by donating a financial contribution to plant trees via Reforest Action in a region of the world.
