The CNIL's GDPR Workshop: what is it?
The GDPR workshop is an online training course designed and delivered by the CNIL (National Commission for Information and Freedoms). It is offered free of charge and its content accessible unlimited for a period of 2 years.

More specifically, it is the Module 5 entitled " Local authorities ». This addition is motivated by the large and varied flow of data that these administrations are called upon to collect and use. Hence the Commission's desire to support them through this specific module addressing the targeted themes that their agents must manage in the exercise of their missions.
As a reminder, the MOOC is developed by the lawyers and experts from the CNIL . Its content is divided into 5 modules of about 5 hours each:
- Module 1 addressing the GDPR and its key concepts,
- Module 2 on the principles of data protection,
- Module 3 on the responsibility of actors,
- Module 4 on the DPO and compliance tools,
- Module 5 dedicated to local authorities.

In addition to improving your understanding of the GDPR, you will be entitled to a certificate by completing the training. Indeed, the issuance of a Certificate of follow-up by module is intended for any participant who has gone through all the content and answered correctly to 80 %evaluation questions for each module.
